Note: This workshop will focus on metrics for publications indexed in Web of Science and/or Scopus. It may not be appropriate for all disciplines.

Metrics for grant writing and promotion will provide information about the various metrics available to you to support claims of research excellence, significance and impact, as well as how to demonstrate the extent of your collaboration.

There will be a hands-on aspect to this course, allowing you to explore the citation and benchmarking tools available at UQ.

This course will enable participants to identify key metrics that will strengthen your grant proposals.

About Impact & influence

Your research may have the potential to impact both policy and practice and influence the broader community in a number of ways. Knowing how and where to communicate your research, and understanding how to do so ethically and responsibly, will ensure your research makes an impact.
