Completing a higher degree is an intense, challenging and rewarding journey. Come and hear from students about the challenges that that have faced throughout their higher degree program and what has helped them to successfully complete their milestones.  this time, we have two students - one who has just completed a PhD, and another who is in the second year. This is a lived experience session, which is aimed at supporting your resilience. These talks are based on real experiences that help remind us of how resilient we can be.

Learn strategies of resilience and how to cope with what the PhD throws at you such as managing supervisors, managing timelines, managing the pressures of academia, and finding work-family-social life balance. In short, learn how to protect your health and sanity.

Light refreshments will be served.

Undertaking a research degree is a huge commitment and requires many skills. Gaining an understanding of these techniques and strategies early, will assist you to complete and submit your thesis efficiently.
