CSIRO in parternship with UQ's Graduate School, is offering to PhD candidates an opportunity to work in " The impact of Climate Change and Climate Vairability on Antimicrobial Resistance" project to develop their research and transferable skills through a HDR placement. PhD candidates with majoring in climate / environmental science / epidemiology / public health / health science or background are welcome to apply.
Intended start date: September 2024 (Specific date negotiable).
Total days: 60 working days.
Location: CSIRO Australian e-Health research centre, Herston.

About the project
This project aims to develop a systematic review of the current literature on the impact of medium- and long-term changes in climate conditions on the evolution and spread of antimicrobial resistance following a research protocol that has been completed.
Key tasks:
- Review and update the research protocol
- Screen selected peer-reviewed studies to include in the review
- Develop a database for data analysis (using Excel)
- Draft the systematic review paper
Expected outputs:
- Database for the systematic review
- A draft of the review paper
- Team/work presentation of the results
