Dr Nate Xie

Nate is a Senior Consultant in the Deloitte Actuaries & Consultants (A&C) Team with over 5 years of general insurance technical and market pricing experience across personal and commercial lines products. He has also worked on a number of actuarial and data science projects for life insurance and financial services companies.

He holds his PhD in Economics/Behavioural Economics at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). He was nominated as Higher Degree Research student representative by School of Economics & Finance at QUT. He also worked as sessional teaching staff at QUT and research assistant at Queensland Behavioural Economics Group (QuBE).

Prior to joining QUT, he received MSc in Statistics at the Australian National University (ANU). He also worked as a financial analyst after receiving BSc in Statistics.
