This data session is part of the 5th Conference on Discourse, Culture & Interaction (DCI-5) held on November 27-28. The data session will be held on November 28 at 10 am. Participants will analyse an excerpt from naturally occurring conversation (either audio or video). We will do a micro-level analysis of what is happening in the data, how meaning is constructed, how relationships between the interactants are built and what social phenomena are visible in the conversational data.

About HDR Week

Celebrating the contribution our HDRs make to UQ and beyond.

HDR Candidates play an important role within The University of Queensland. HDR Week is a chance to celebrate our HDR candidates and thank them for their contributions. The week includes networking events, and social activities to recognise the hard work they put into their HDR journey and the important contribution they make to our university community. In 2024,  in partnership with the UQ Association of Postgraduate Students (APS)we will celebrate HDR Week from 18-22 November.
