Please join us for a HASS Faculty- HDR Career Panel Discussion. During HDR week, we invite current HASS PhD candidates who are interested in exploring a range of career pathways both within and beyond academia to this special event. The session will feature a panel discussion with HASS HDR alumni, who will share insights into the career paths they’ve pursued since completing their PhD. Together with Professor Ilana Mushin, Deputy Associate Dean (Research), panellists will be invited to reflect on their post-PhD experiences and offer advice to current HDR students as they consider their next steps. Celebrating the contribution our HDRs make to UQ and beyond.
HDR Candidates play an important role within The University of Queensland. HDR Week is a chance to celebrate our HDR candidates and thank them for their contributions. The week includes networking events, and social activities to recognise the hard work they put into their HDR journey and the important contribution they make to our university community. In 2025, in partnership with the UQ Association of Postgraduate Students (APS), we will celebrate HDR Week from 24-28 November.
