Association of Postgraduate Students

The UQU Association of Postgraduate Students (APS) is an association comprising all +13,000 Postgraduate students at the University of Queensland brought to you by UQU, your student union.

All postgraduate students are automatically members and are encouraged to get involved with UQU APS events across campus as soon as possible!

UQU APS aims to create a platform for all postgraduate students to engage socially and professionally with students from other schools, faculties, nationalities, cultures and general interests. 


Student Help on Campus (SHOC)

Brought to you by UQU, Student Help on Campus (SHOC) is a free, independent, short term support service for all UQ students. SHOC can provide you with assistance on matters relating to the following areas:

Research methods and statistics

Resources to answer your research methods and statistics questions.

The Methods for Social Analysis and Statistics program is run by the Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR). The program comprises of a number of training modules of varying lengths, grouped into four streams. It was developed out of the need to provide research and statistics training, which deviate from the traditional, academic approach to teaching statistics. Students recieve a discount of 25% for the modules in this program.
