Networking in the digital space [webinar]
The word 'networking' often conjures up images of standing in a crowded room trying to engage in meaningful small talk with someone you don't know. But what about when you can't be in the room? How do you go about networking and making those important connections through written communication channels?
This session will cover a broad range of topics related to networking in the digital space, including:
- The importance of having an up-to-date digital presence
- The use of email and social media
- Tips and tricks for making contact through the written medium
By the end of this workshop you will have:
- Considered what you want your online presence to be
- Made a plan for networking with one person
