Policy 101: Understanding public policy and its making [St Lucia]

Learn how to produce policy-relevant findings and recommendations. This workshop will help HDR students understand what public policy is and how it is made by:
- Presenting the concepts of policy and policy-making;
- Introducing the actors, both official and unofficial, involved in policy-making;
- Explaining the policy process, from design to implementation and evaluation; and
- Providing a summary of approaches to study public policy
