4. After your Placement
Once your placement has concluded, there are a small number of final steps required to formally complete the HDR Placement Program. Completion of these requirements enables the placement to be recorded on your transcript and, where applicable, triggers eligibility for placement funding.
After your placement:
- Complete your placement reflection - You will be asked to submit a placement reflection outlining your experience and key outcomes.
- Ensure host feedback is provided - Your host organisation will receive a short survey to provide feedback on the placement. Both your reflection and the host survey must be received before the placement can be finalised.
- Receive your placement outcome - Upon successful completion, a passing grade will be recorded on your academic transcript.
- Look out for your completion notification - The GRS will email you to confirm that your placement has been successfully finalised.
- Access placement funding (if eligible) - Once your placement has been finalised, eligible candidates will automatically be considered for the relevant UQ Industry Placement Scholarship or UQ Industry Placement Award.
