5. Placement Scholarships and Awards

We have a number of options designed to support candidates to undertake a placement during their HDR Program.

UQ Industry Placement Scholarship

If you meet the criteria, this scholarship will provide you with:

  • A 3 month extension of to your Thesis Submission Date (up to 3.75 years FTE)
  • A 3 month extension of tuition fee offset scholarship
  • A 3 month extension of your living stipend

UQ Industry Placement Award

If you meet the criteria of the UQ PhD Industry Placement Award you will be provided with the award payment upon successful completion of the placement.
